After the PCI report: getting your Kalkallo builder to act

How to hand over the defect list, agree fix dates and check the work before you take the keys.

Kalkallo 3064 · 5 October 2026

In short: Send the report in writing, ask the builder to confirm each item, agree dates and book a reinspection. Keep everything in email.

Send it in writing

Email the report to the builder and site supervisor with a request to confirm each item and a date for rectification.

Sort the list

Group items into those that must be fixed before handover and those you will accept being fixed after. Get the second list acknowledged.

Reinspection

Once the builder says items are done, a reinspection marks each one fixed or still open.

If the builder refuses

Ask for the reason in writing. Each item cites a clause, which makes refusal harder to justify.
